Kat jumped as she heard the icy voice of her mentor and boss whispered in her ear. The young female sighed, her eyes trailing down to the floor as she wrapped her bare arms around her body, her eye twitching slightly at the achiness in her bandaged hands, awaiting Zillahs words.
"Now...usually you're a good fighter. One of my best that i've trained. But today? Pathetic, Katori, pathetic." Zillah's voice was cold and sneering, but she kept it quiet and soft, only leaning into the younger females ear to whisper, knowing it would make her nervous.
"Now, you know I can NOT afford to have you slacking." She said the last word with a hint of disgust. "Or else...there will be punishments."
Kat swallowed the lump in her throat to croak out a small reply, "Yes, Zillah."
"I mean it. Work harder. Prove your worth to me. Show me you're useful. Or else you're in trouble, my dear, and you know you will be...now, are you going to be good and you're not going to slack?"
"Yes, Zillah."
"Good. You're dismissed. Go home, now."
